24-hour's notice is required for all cancellations; those made after that time frame will be charged a $10 cancellation fee. Visits canceled within the scheduled timeframe will be charged the full price of the walk.

DOG WALKING POLICY

At Pawsitively Pooches, LLC, we strive to provide the best possible care for your pets. We understand the importance of trust and reliability when it comes to the care of your furry friends, and we take this responsibility seriously. The following policy outlines the guidelines and expectations for our dog walking and pet sitting services:

1. Dog Walking Services: We specialize in dog walking services. We provide daily walks for dogs year-round and can tailor our services to meet the needs of your dog(s).

2. Pet Sitting Services: We also provide pet sitting services for other animals such as cats, lizards, and small caged animals. We will visit your pet(s) in your home while you are away and provide food, water, and other basic care tasks as needed, as well as some playtime and cuddles.

3. Initial Consultation: Before we begin providing services for you and your pets, we require an initial consultation. This consultation will include meeting with you and your pets to discuss the specifics of your pets' care and to go over any questions or concerns you may have.

4. Payment: Payment can be made online through the client's account or by leaving a check for their walker to collect. Invoices are sent out bi-weekly, and payment is due within 7 days of the invoice being sent. If payment is not received 7 days after the due date, a $10 late fee will be added. If payment is not received within 30 days, we will discontinue service until payment or an agreement is made. If you would like your payments to be processed automatically, please accept the Automatic Payment Policy.

5. Cancellations: If you need to cancel or reschedule a service, please do so as soon as possible by contacting us via the app, text, or email. Please see our cancellation policy for more details.

6. Safety and Care: At Pawsitively Pooches, LLC, we prioritize the safety and well-being of your pets. We will take all reasonable precautions to ensure their safety during walks and visits. We reserve the right to alter our walks or visits depending on the weather or any other safety concerns, such as hazardous road conditions or extreme heat or cold. If we deem that conditions are unsafe, we may shorten or cancel a walk or visit to ensure the safety of your pet and our staff. We will always do our best to communicate any changes to you in a timely and effective manner.

7. Accidents and Emergencies: We always do our best to prevent accidents, but we cannot guarantee that accidents will not occur. In the event of an accident or emergency, we will notify you immediately and take appropriate action as necessary. We have liability insurance coverage in case of any damage or injury caused by us.

8. Photography and Video: Pawsitively Pooches, LLC may take pictures and videos of your pet while on walks or during visits for promotional or documentation purposes. By using our services, you give us permission to take and use these pictures and videos. We may share these pictures and videos with you, other staff members, and on our social media platforms. We will make every effort to ensure that your pet's privacy is respected and protected. If you have any concerns or do not wish for pictures or videos to be taken, please let us know in writing.

9. Liability: Pawsitively Pooches, LLC is not responsible for any damage to property or injury to any person or animal that is not caused by the negligence of our staff. We will take all reasonable precautions to prevent any accidents or injuries from occurring while we are responsible for your pets. However, we cannot be held liable for any unforeseeable or uncontrollable events that may result in injury, illness, or death of your pet.

10. Emergency Protocol: In the event of an emergency, Pawsitively Pooches, LLC will take immediate action to contact you or your designated emergency contact. If we are unable to reach you or your emergency contact, we will take necessary steps to ensure the safety and well-being of your pet. This may include seeking medical attention or contacting local animal control agencies.

11. Key and Home Security: The security of your home and keys is of utmost importance to us at Pawsitively Pooches, LLC. We keep all keys in our possession in a secure location and ensure that they are not labeled with any identifiable information. We will not share any information regarding your home or key with any third party unless required by law.

12. Communication: We value transparent communication with our clients. If you have any concerns or questions about our services, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will promptly address any issues in a timely and effective manner.
